There comes a time.

"And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?
As it is written:
“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
There comes a time when things need to happen.
Priorities need to be set.
Decisions need to be made.
Plans need to move forward.
Well, for the American Gospel Tour that time has come.
Which means that this blog will be being updated
a bit more than in the past.
See, up until the past few months there were times
when we were not even sure that the
American Gospel Tour was going to happen.
But then in, it seems no time at all,
God has opened so many doors and opportunities
that we have been left in awe at all that He is doing.
When the Lord first started laying the
vision of the American Gospel Tour on Jen's heart
about two years ago
we went and spoke to a Pastor at a youth group
we were attending at the time.
We were all excited about how neat it would
be to go across America in an RV sharing the
Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He was excited too.
But then he sat back in his chair
and he exhorted us to stay excited about going
across America but to start where we were at.
Then it really didn't make sense.
Now almost two years later it has clicked.
We realized that doing the American Gospel Tour does
not just mean we go across America for 10 weeks
within the next few summers Lord willing.
No.
Nope.
Nuh uh.
It means starting right here.
Right now.
Where we are at.
With our friends.
With our family.
With our neighbors.
At Walmart.
To telemarketers.
Here.
Now.
Where we are at.
So that is what we have been doing.
These past few months have been full of
evangelizing at parks, walmart, wherever we can.
They have also been full of speaking engagements
(Lord willing we will be sharing some pictures and stories
in some upcoming posts).
They have been full of just plain helping and serving others.
Some think that ministry is always glamerous-full of lights,
and microphones, and adoring crowds.
Well, not saying that ministry can not be like that at times.
But we are learning that ministry does not
just stop after the one hour speaking engagement.
It continues.

L to R: Katy, Jason, Nicole, Cody and Jen

Prayer:

-Please pray for us as we continue to minister. We have had some amazing doors open and it looks like we will be heading to Key West, Florida this January for a 15ish day trip for training in evangelism at Mallory Square.

-Please pray for Jason as he speaks at Genesee Community Colleges Christian Fellowship this Tuesday.

-Please pray for provision and that many more doors will be open.

-Most importantly please pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will be honored and glorified and that many people will come to know Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

The Girls: Nicole, Katy, Jen
